Summary
Tened, a mercenary wandering the world in search of his missing younger brother, one day discovers a clue linking his brother to the Grand Cathedral. To uncover the truth, he joins a carriage escort mission bound for the cathedral, but the mission quickly descends into chaos when heretics attack.
Amid the flames, inside the carriage meant to hold a sacred relic—there is not a relic, but a child.
Without hesitation, Tened rescues the child, and from that moment begins a journey to bring them to the Grand Cathedral. Along the way, in the child’s eyes, a nameless feeling toward the man who saved them quietly begins to bloom. Show more

About MangaOwl
MangaOwl is a free online reader covering manga, manhwa and manhua, with new chapters added as translations go live. Titles open directly in the browser - there is nothing to install and no sign-up wall.
If Pseudo Syndrome is your sort of thing, the Drama, Manhwa and Romance sections are the natural place to keep going. Each genre page is sorted with the most recently updated titles first, so ongoing series surface at the top.
You can browse the full catalogue by genre, author or artist, and search accepts alternative titles too, which helps when a series circulates under more than one name.
Bookmarks save your spot, so picking a long series back up later takes one click. Ongoing manhwa titles in particular are worth bookmarking, since the chapter list changes week to week.
Pages load one after another in a single scrolling column, which suits long vertical artwork on a phone, and there is a paged mode in the reader settings if you would rather move a spread at a time. A light and dark toggle sits in the same toolbar for late-night reading.
The MangaOwl front page collects the newest uploads across every genre, which is the quickest way to see what has just landed. From there you can drill into one genre or open the full catalogue in full.
