Read manhwa King of the Mound
Through a combination of numerous injuries, a weak frame, and financial difficulties, the protagonist Lee Jinyong gave up on his path to being a baseball athlete and lived as a factory employee instead. One day, the spirit of Kim Jinho, the baseball hero who was hailed as a legend in Korea, as well as Lee Jinyong’s idol who passed away 10 years ago, appeared before him. At the same time, an unknown notice appeared, stating that the ‘Baseball Manager’ would start, and Lee Jinyong gained an ability that gave him the constitution of a pitcher, similar to a game avatar. About MangaOwl
MangaOwl hosts a large free library of manga, manhwa and manhua, updated continuously as fresh chapters appear. Everything reads in the browser with no account, no app and no download step.
If King of the Mound is your sort of thing, the Action sections are the natural place to keep going. Each genre page is sorted with the most recently updated titles first, so ongoing series surface at the top.
The full catalogue sorts by genre, by author and by artist, and the search field matches alternative titles as well, so a romanised or original-language name will still find the right series.
Bookmarks save your spot, so picking a long series back up later takes one click. Ongoing series titles in particular are worth bookmarking, since the chapter list changes week to week.
Pages load one after another in a single scrolling column, which suits long vertical artwork on a phone, and there is a paged mode in the reader settings if you would rather move a spread at a time. A light and dark toggle sits in the same toolbar for late-night reading.
Everything uploaded most recently, across all genres, surfaces on the MangaOwl front page. From there, narrow to a single genre or open the full catalogue end to end.
